Australia
Australia is the driest continent. 10%percent of the population live in the outback and 90% percent lives in the cities on the coast. Sorting Life: the most popular games that people take part are tennis, golf, netball and swimming. The most popular spectator is Australian Rules football but also cricket and rugby.

Lifes Beach
In Australia there are 7,000 beaches. Australian beaches are usually sandy and withe. The most famous beach is Bondi Beach, it is just outside Sidney, this beach is one kilometer long.

Christmas
At Christmas the temperature are over 30 C. Christmas in Australia is very different to Christmas in Europe because its very hot: on Christmas day many families have a barbecue on the beach. On 26 december there are cricket and rugby match.

Outback
The dry interior of Australia is the outback. Children in the outback do not go to school. They get their lesson through the radio and via internet. The doctor visits by plane.

Aborigines
In Australia lived Aborigines for 60,000 years. They originally came from Asia and they lived in tribes and were nomads. They lived in caves: Aborigines ate what they found in the forest (insects, fish, honey and plants). They were hunters and used boomerangs to kill Kangaroos . Many of the aborigine tribes was kill from European settlers; today modern aborigines have therir own flag: its black and red with a yellow circle
