Jubilee Celebration Hometown Picnic & Games
11:00 a.m. 1:30 p.m. Civic Center
Celebrate 125 years with us! Throughout the day will we host special activities to commemorate the Towns Jubilee Year. The 4th of July event will mark the kick off of The Art Experience, a unique project giving the Los Gatos Community an opportunity to celebrate our Jubilee and create a piece of art history. Stop by the Adult Recreation Center anytime during the event to learn more, or to create your masterpiece for The Art Experience. www.LosGatosCA.gov/Jubilee

The day will begin with some good ol family fun including games provided by LGS Recreation and TeenForce, and entertainment by the Sizzling Seniors.

Strike up the Band

1:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m. Los Gatos High School Front Lawn

Our traditional San Jose Wind Symphony concert will begin with a Flag Raising Ceremony and Mayors Welcome, followed by an afternoon of marches, popular tunes and patriotic songs. We will also honor our local service men and women with a Yellow Ribbon Ceremony at intermission. Our Flag Raising and Yellow Ribbon Ceremonies are made possible by the Los Gatos Rotary, Boy Scout Troop 501, and Operation Yellow Ribbon. www.SJWS.org

Yankee Doodle Dancing

Get ready for an old fashioned toe tappin, nger snappin good time with a performance by the Peninsula Banjo Band.

Delicious BBQ favorites and ice cold drinks will be available for purchase from the following Los Gatos Community Service Organizations: Lions, Rotary, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Los Gatos Community Foundation.
