first side
Work now proceeds in rows to form the first side of the cuff. Row 6 (wrong side) Ch 1, turn, sc in same st as join, [ch 3, sk 1 sc, sc in next sc, ch 3, sk 2 sc, sc in next sc] twice, ch 3, sk 1 sc, sc in next sc, sl st in next sc; leave remaining sts unworked6 sc and 5 ch-3 spaces. Row 7 Turn, sk sl st, sl st in next sc, 3 sc in each ch3 space across, sl st in last sc15 sc. Row 8 Turn, sk sl st, sl st in next sc, sc in next sc, [ch 4, sk 2 sc, sc in next sc] 4 times, sl st in last sc5 sc and 4 ch-4 spaces. 1 The center flower motif is worked in continuous rounds, with right side facing; do not turn. 2 The sides of the cuff are worked in rows. 3 The cuff can be finished in two ways; 1) the cuff can be kept soft and a button closure added, 2) the cuff can be stiffened and a jewelry clasp added.

Round 3 Ch 1, 2 hdc around post of hdc, 3 sc in next 9 ch-3 spaces, sc in first ch-1 space; join with sl st in first sc30 sc. finishing edging
With right side facing, join yarn with sl st in edge of cuff.

Round 1 Work sl st evenly spaced around entire outer edge of cuff. Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
