Queen Ann's Lace Bracelet and Earring Set

crochet hook size 3
1 ball #10 Ecru Crochet Cotton
3 small buttons
Large eye tapestry needle
sewing needle and matching thread

4 skeins for the bracelet
2 skeins for the earrings

Measurements
Earrings-2 inches across in crochet cotton/ embroidery floss -2 ¼ inches across
Bracelet in crochet cotton-2 3/4 by 6 ¾/ embroidery floss-3 inches by 7 inches

Earrings
Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring.
Round 1
Ch 3, work 19 dc around chain, join with a sl st at top of 3rd ch.
Round 2
Ch 4, [ Dc in next st, ch 1] repeat around. End join with a sl st into 3 rd st of beg chain.

Round 3
Sl st into next ch sp. Ch 1, sc , ch 2, sc in same sp. In next space *[ sc, ch 2, sc]. (picot loop made).
Repeat from star all around.. Before joining, pull up a loop. Thread it through the bottom loop of the
earring with the point of the wire facing away from you.
End with a sl st in beg ch. End off. Run in loose threads with tapestry needle.

Bracelet

Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring.

Round 1
Ch 3, work 19 dc around chain, join with a sl st at top of 3rd ch.

Round 2
Ch 4, *[ Dc in next st, ch 1] repeat from star around. End join with a sl st into 3 rd st of beg chain.
Round 3
Ch 2, sc in same sp. In next space *[ sc, ch 2, sc]. (picot loop made). Repeat from star 16 times. 3 ch 1
sps remain. Sc in next ch1 sp, ch 5 , skip 2 ch 1 sps. Sl st through center of ch 2 sp in picot at
beginning of row. The ch 5 loop is the base of the fan on all other pattern repeats. Ch 3, turn.
Row 4
Work 11 dc around ch 5 loop. (12 stitches counting the turning ch) Join with a sl st through center
of next free picot. Ch 4 turn
Row 5
Work *[1 dc ch 1 in next st.] repeat from star 11 times. End dc in last st, join with a sl st in center of
next free picot. (12 ch 1 sps). Turn

Row 6
Sl st into next ch1 sp. Sc, ch 1, sc in same sp. *[work picot (sc,ch 2,sc) in next 8 sps. 3 empty sps
remain.

Sc in next ch 1 sp. Chain 5. Pass hook through the last sp, pull up a loop through the next picot, and
slip st both together at the same time. Ch 3,Turn .

Repeat from Row 4 four more times.

Last Fan
Repeat rows 4 and 5. On row 6 work picots to the end and join with a slip st in the next picot from the
rows below end off.
Finishing
Cut thread and weave in end. Sew buttons as shown in picture. Dampen with cold water. Lay flat on
towel to dry.
