How to disable the alert

Step 4
After entering the appropriate username and password you will be able to
login to Nagios Monitoring tool and you will get the screen as shown the
below figure

Step 5
After logging into the server type the server name in the Show Host tab, which
you want to suppress the alert.

Step 6
After selecting the appropriate server, On the right side box you can find
Schedule downtime for this host option, then click on that.

Step 7
After clicking the link you will get the options as shown in the below figure.

Step 8
Then schedule the downtime for the Host as shown in the below figure.

After scheduling the downtime click commit tab for changes to take effect.
