Many Rajput families had migrated from Kharda to Pune and Mumbai along with Bayas and Goud families. PROBLEMS IN THE VILLAGES: BASIC INFRASTRUCTURE: In this village there are no proper roads for villagers to commute between the main city Ahmednagar and the village. The roads which are used by the villagers are muddy and in rainy season the condition become worst for the people to go by roads anywhere. There is no bus stand or any railway stations for the villagers the villagers have to go 20 to 30 kms away from the village to avail the facilities to the nearby district or the main district. Most of the houses in the villages are building by using only bricks no concrete base is there for the houses. Around 12 to 15 hours day load shading is there in the village which affects tremendously on the working of the village. People have electronic equipments but due no electricity supply they cant use it. Same is the problem with the water supply due to no electricity pumps are not use full for the villagers as well as it is a drought prone area there is a acute shortage of water. Telecommunication network is their but limited to landlines at very few houses only and public telephones. Proper range of mobile networks service providers is not available at the interior areas of the village. Nearby the village area their no hospitals or proper clinics for residential or any easily available healthcare centers for them for accessing this facility people have to go a long way to a nearby village or a town. Many of the villagers have to lose their lives due not availability of medical facilities at earliest. There are no proper drainage systems and proper washrooms available in the village government had initiated a scheme to eradicate the problem but somehow it couldnt materialize and lack of

awareness among the people is also the main reason for such problems Educational facilities: In this village only primary educational facility is available for secondary and higher secondary the students have to cover a long distances which become a hectic thing for students. There is only on primary school in the village having educational facilities from 1ststd to 4th STD that to in bad conditions. Hardly 35% to 40% of the children in the village are attending schools and around 55% to 60 % are no attending school due to many reasons and one of the main reasons is poverty. The main constraint to avail all educational facilities is misconception among the villagers about education and its importance. Very few people have gained higher education and lead better lives. There are no colleges in surrounding ten to fifteen villages for higher secondary studies students have to go to nearby district or for better facilities to the main city Ahmednagar which very few people can afford it. Drought: As this village is on the outskirts of the district at a very moderate level rainfall is there. Ahmednagar is such a district that half of the portion has a good amount of rainfall and half of the portion has very less or moderate rainfall. The less amount of rainfall creates a lot of obstacles for the farmers to do farming and generate income from it. The villages on the outskirts approximately 65 to 70 % of the land is becoming barren due improper water supply throughout the years and less rainfall. Last year there were no satisfactory rainfalls

hardly 45% due to which they have to face drought this year. In rainy and winter season villagers manages somehow to get regularly water supply but in summer season it becomes difficult to procure continuous water supply for household chores and for farming purpose. Due to less water supply villagers are forced to cultivate crops like wheat, jowari etc or the crops which need less water while cultivation and due to lack of awareness of market price of the crops which they grow they are exploited by the middlemen by purchasing at the low price the villagers are going away through their basic occupation due scarcity of water and decrease in rainfall year by year. The wells or a pond in the surrounding of the villages becomes dry till the monsoon reaches to the area. Dams are there in the district but there is no canal constructed through which water can be supplied to the village and the farm continuously.
