I as a resident/owner at CHAPARRAL POINTE acknowledge that this application for approval is limited to the above-mentioned pet only to live out its Natural Life at CHAPARRAL POINTE. This pet may not be replaced without prior re-application and approval from the Board of Directors.

There should be a maximum of 2 (two) animals allowed per unit. The size of each animal should not exceed 20 lbs.

CHAPARRAL POINTE PET RULES AND REGULATIONS

As a responsible pet owner, you are aware that your pet requires care and attention in order to lead a happy and healthy life. And, as a responsible pet owner, you want to ensure that your pet is safe from harm; that he/she doesn't run loose in the neighbourhood or create problems for your neighbours. Please ensure you read and abide by all By-Laws as they refer to pets. In addition, your cooperation in maintaining the following rules is greatly appreciated. 1. 2. All dogs must be licensed - City of Calgary By-Law 23M89, Section 6 (a); ($250.00 Fine). Dog MUST NOT be toileted on the common area green space, on balconies or patio. Offsite all droppings must be picked up immediately, NOT left until later. Have a container or bag with you when you walk your dog - City of Calgary ByLaw 23M89, Section 4 (e); ($100.00 Fine). Dogs must be on a leash less than six feet long at all times. Dogs must not run at large - City of Calgary By-Law 23M89 Section 3; ($100.00 Fine); and the dog will be sent to the pound. Excessive barking will be treated as a noise complaint, City of Calgary By-Law 23M89 Section 4 (a) (v); ($100.00 Fine). Cats must be confined inside the unit or enclosed area and not allowed to wander at large - City of Calgary By-Law 23M90, Section 164 (3); ($50.00 Fine). Pets are NOT to be tied to patios, balconies or yards for long periods of time, or when owners are not home. Cats are NOT allowed to wander common areas, but must be kept in the unit or on a leash. Special leashes are available for cats. Cat litter must be tied in a plastic and placed directly in the garbage bin. Owners will be responsible for ANY/ALL damages caused by their pets. PETS WILL ONLY BE ALLOWED AT THE DISCRETION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
