Fall Outlook
The UNLV Womens Golf Program enters into the 2012-2013 season with a veteran lineup. The Rebels advanced to their 10th straight NCaa Postseason appearance in just the 11th year of the program. The team missed advancing to the National Championship by six shots.
named to the mountain West Confernce freshman of the Year. This was the first time in mountain West Conference history that co-freshman of the Year were from the same team. swearingen shot her tournament low score (72) at the UNLV spring Invitational. The Rebels are excited to welcome two new players to the team: Demi mak and anna-Lena Kraemer. Junior transfer Demi mak joins the squad after two seasons at New mexico state. Demi was runner-up at the 2012 Western athletic Conference Championship and advanced to the NCaa Regionals as an individual. anna-Lena joins the team as the only incoming freshman. The aldorf, Germany native is the second member of her family to dawn the Rebel Red, joining her older brother max who was a member of the mens golf team from 2009-11. senior ellis Keenan enters into her final season with plenty of tournament experience during her Rebel career. Juniors Charlotte Brooks and Katerina Prorokova both enjoyed successful campaigns last year and look to build momentum from the spring to start this fall season. Brooks had two top five tournament finishes (Bruin/Wave 4th place finish and Betsy Rawls 5th place finish). sophomores Dana finkelstein, marguerite swearingen, and mayko Chwen Wang also enjoyed successful freshman campaigns. finkelstein and Chwen Wang were
