The registration fee is $400 per person. Please send in your payment with your registration. Employees from a Tennessee city, county, state government or MPOs involved in transportation planning functions will get FREE registrations. TDOT employees must register through their local TDOT Training Office. Please note your employment status on the registration form. Lunch and breaks will be provided. Please let us know of any special dietary needs. A course may be canceled due to low enrollment. Forty-eight hours notice will be given to registrants if a course is canceled. Advance registration is mandatory! Class is limited to 30 participants.

WHAT THIS IS ABOUT

The training will expose you to many of the travel demand modeling and GIS features in TransCAD.. The majority of the time will be spent working through problems with the instructor. There will also be demos performed by the instructor as well as exercises that you will work through on your own. It is not possible to cover all of TransCAD s functionality in this course, so the objectives are that you leave with a working knowledge of the basics, a sense of the breadth of functionality available in TransCAD , and the ability to explore the documentation and interface to find and execute the procedures you need. The use of a computer and training materials are provided for participants.

INSTRUCTOR
Paul Ricotta, Caliper Corporation Paul Ricotta is a Senior Transportation Engineer at Caliper Corporation. Mr. Ricotta specializes in the development of Travel Demand Forecasting, Traffic Engineering, and Routing and Logistics applications for TransCAD. He routinely conducts TransCAD training sessions for users in the public and private sectors. Mr. Ricotta also provides technical support for TransCAD. He is familiar with a wide range of transportation software applications for performing simulation and travel demand forecasting. Mr. Ricotta holds an MS degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and BS degrees in Civil Engineering and Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)/Professional Development Hours (PDHs) can be granted for this course. A $10 administrative fee is required if you want your CEUs registered with the University of Tennessee.
