The commitment of De Lorenzo to design new products for technical and voca onal training is constant and con nuous. In one of the main subjects, that of Autotronics, we have added a new simula on panel for the study of hybrid and electric motors (DL AM22). A further didac c tool in the eld of the Green Technology, this me applied to automobiles. We have also started a new line of products that we have named MINICAR. These panels are midway between simulators (without real components) and demonstrators (with real components on the front board). The MINICAR design uses real signals coming from a few real components so that everything is real, not simulated, although the signals are scaled down. The rst panel in this new line deals with the Control of the Emissions (DL MINICAR-05). Again, s ll in the Automo ve sector, we have developed a new set of demonstrators dealing with ligh ng and signalling, mul point injec on, air bag and ABS braking system. In the eld of Renewable Energies, we have gone through a re-design of some of our trainers, like the wind tunnel (DL WIND-B) or the trainer for the study of thermal solar energy (DL THERMO-A1 and A2). Furthermore, we are proposing a kit for photovoltaic solar installa ons (DL SOLAR-KIT).

In the Automa on eld, we have developed a new trainer for the study of brushless motors (DL 2108T26). In the electrical machines laboratories, we have renewed the modules for the measurement of the electrical parameters (DL 10065N and DL 10060N) to be directly compa ble with PC applica ons through RS 485 communica on ports. Furthermore, we have designed a new module (DL 50060T) with a touch screen for the acquisi on of both mechanical and electrical parameters and interface to PC. Finally, in the eld of Electrical Power Engineering, we have designed a new system for simula ng the wind energy in the double feed congura on and we are con nuing our development of a Smart Grid system to cope with the latest developments in power distribu on. DL AM22 - HYBRID AND ELECTRIC SYSTEMS

With this simulator it is possible to study all the opera ng characteris cs of an automobile with a hybrid system (internal combus on engine and electric motor) or totally electric. The simulator consists of a panel operated by PC with a mimic diagram for the clear posi oning of the components. The dierent zones of the mimic diagram are presented with dierent colours and shades to emphasize the peculiar characteris cs of the system. The simulator is provided with a so ware to enable students to follow step-by-step the theory and the exercises.

DL MINICAR-05: Emissions Control

This Trainer studies the devices and the systems used for controlling and reducing the emissions of gasoline engines. The trainer illustrates the opera on, the electric signals and all the sensors and the actuators that are used in modern automobiles to reduce the emission of noxious gases. The trainer is provided with an electric motor, with phonic wheel and magne c sensor for posi on and rota on speed. The electric motor 'simulates' the opera on of the real engine. The trainer uses a graphic display and a keyboard for the visualiza on of the interes ng parameters during the opera on and for the selec on of quan es and func ons to be visualized.

DL WIND-B - WIND ENERGY TRAINER Trainer for the theore cal and prac cal study of the genera on of electricity by means of wind power. With this trainer it is possible to change the ow of the air that reaches the wind turbine and to experiment its opera on at no load and load condi ons.

DL THERMO-A2: Thermal Solar Energy Trainer DL SOLAR-KIT Photovoltaic solar energy installa on kit Didac c system for the theore cal and prac cal study of solar power facili es used to obtain hot water for sanita on, air condi oning and similar services. It incorporates six temperature probes available at four dierent points, and a solar irradia on sensor that is used to calculate energy.
