COMMENTS
95 mg/L Li from the Keg River Formation A bioclastic sandstone bed containing abundant fish debris at the base of the Fish Scales unit within the Cretaceous Shaftesbury Formation is 8 cm thick and exposed over a horizontal distance of about 300 m. A sample returned 22.32% P2O5, 0.039% U, 0.037% La, 0.056% Ce, and 0.061% Y. A radioactive zone is located in a fractured pink pegmatite interlayered with biotite gneiss. The fractured zone extends over an area of 1 m by 10 m. A grab sample returned 0.221% La, 0.563% Ce, 0.255% Nd, and 0.276% Th. The area lies within the Taltson magmatic zone. The highest radioactivity in the area is associated with fractures in granite filled with pink K-feldspar. Samples returned values of up to 0.070% La and 0.105% Th. The area lies within the Taltson magmatic zone. A sample from a 1.4 m thick pegmatite dike with biotite-filled fractures returned 0.101% La, 0.185% Ce, and 0.126% Th. The area lies within the Taltson magmatic zone. A sample from a chloritized shear in granitoid gneiss near the Bonny Fault returned 0.104% La and 0.201% Ce. The area lies within the Taltson magmatic zone.

Mo, Ni, U, V, Zn, Cu, Co, Li, REE

A mineralized zone 13 to 23 m thick occurs within the black shale of the Cretaceous Second White Specks Formation. In addition to Mo, Ni, U, V, Zn, Cu, Co, and Li, REE may be recovered as co-products during bioleaching. Drillholes within the Buckton zone have returned intercepts of up to 0.0066% La and 0.0098% Ce over 26.2 m. The inferred resource is 250 092 000 short tons (226 880 000 tonnes) at 0.0115 MoO3, 0.0148% Ni, 0.0037% U3O8, 0.1288% V2O5, 0.0302% Zn, 0.0076% Cu, 0.0023% Co, and 0.0302% Li2CO3. A sample of radioactive megacrystic granitoid returned 0.190% La, 0.330% Ce, 0.120% Nd, and 0.190% Th. The area lies within the Taltson magmatic zone.

133 samples from 18 drillholes in tailings from the Syncrude mine yielded 8.5% to 14.0% TiO2 and 0.4% to 2.7% Zr. The tailings are derived from mining of the Cretaceous McMurray Formation oil-bearing sandstone. Minerals include rutile, leucoxene, ilmenite and zircon. 125 samples from 9 drillholes in tailings from the Suncor mine yielded 10.9% to 12.9% TiO2 and 1.1% to 3.6% Zr. The tailings are derived from the mining of Cretaceous McMurray Formation oil-bearing sandstone. Minerals include rutile, leucoxene, ilmenite and zircon. 96 mg/L Li from the Winterburn Group 76 mg/L Li from the Woodbend Group 79 mg/L Li from the Wabamun Group 83 mg/L Li 95 mg/L Li
