78 Tarot Personalities

I created this worksheet to share a method which can help broaden your perspective of the 78
tarot cards. I began this as a fun game in a tarot forum a couple years ago. It came to mind as I was
thinking up helpful tips for my eZine.
The idea behind this worksheet is to match a famous personality with each tarot card. This will
get you thinking of the personal traits of each card by having to match it to a real life example. By
practicing this method, the cards can become more approachable and increase your comfort level with
them. The personalities you think up can be real or fictional, dead or alive.
I have started you off with an example for each card, but I've left you space to fill out your own
matches. Please do this exercise for yourself! It's a worksheet, not a cheat sheet! Don't rely on my
matches, which you may or may not agree with. The whole point of this process is for you to make the
connections for yourself.
Once you have completed a list of your own, you can come back to this exercise again and
again. You will undoubtedly find yourself able to produce several personalities for a single card, but
terribly stuck without matches for others. It is these challenging cards that you need to work with most,
as they are likely the cards you are least comfortable or familiar with. Have fun with it!
