Overview of the Project

Concerning my project, currently I feel it is stalled. Why stalled and not written off, well with the changes and opportunity outlined earlier the general principles attached to my project i.e. joining of services, refinement of the current systems, pooling resources and skill mixing all form part of the current QUIPP agenda and recently launched NHS Change Model; The model has been created to support the NHS to adopt a shared approach to leading change and transformation. Both key document for change which encourage the ideas for change to be generated from all areas and staff employed within the NHS.

development model to maximise the impact of the idea that you have. This insight and knowledge has also highlighted just how fragile the whole system is in reality, whilst the physical presence of the NHS within England is considerable. It is also as potentially vulnerable to catastrophic failure, as a large oil tanker picking its way through an ocean scattered with drifting icebergs whilst on the watch for pirates.

Results
As my fellowship ends and I take time to reflect I find myself thinking. Wow just where has the time gone, and what a journey through both academic and experiential learning modules. The wealth of knowledge, insight, compassion and camaraderie of my fellow Fellows without whom the experience would have been very, very different. I see two objectives to overcome, firstly a critical mass of Fellows to overcome any inertia that may exist within areas of NHS England as the skills and knowledge learnt, challenge areas of current thinking and process, secondly skills learnt but not practiced soon become lost.
