Dear Friends, We have so much to tell you this month! We can see the hand of God working here.

The bonfire that we did with the youth of the church Fortaleza Familiar was a success. More than 40 people came and we had music, food and a special message for the youth. It was a real blessing because we felt that God used this bonfire to encourage and plant seeds in the hearts of the youth.

In the first week of October, we launched our first cell group meeting in Fortaleza Familiar. We are currently helping the pastor and his wife lead this group. The first day, more than 15 people came! As we mentioned in the last newsletter about the needs for our yard, God is providing. A friend of ours who is very interested in the ministry offered to buy a toilet for the bathroom that will go in the yard. This month, we will be working on the construction of this bathroom. Last week a couple named Carlos and Sandy Rios from the mission agency TEAM called us. They had just finished planting a church in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and they wanted to visit Queretaro. They are in the process of seeing where they will plant another church and looking at the possibilities of working with us. It was so great to have them stay in our home last weekend and hear their advice and show them what God is doing in Queretaro. Last Sunday, we had the opportunity to eat lunch with Tony Dupont and his family at their house. They work with TEAM and know the pastor of Fortaleza Familiar very well. What a small world!

Tony Dupont and his family. Carlos and Sandy Rios In conclusion, we would like to tell you about a need we have. As you know, we live off the rent of 4 storefronts and make just enough to survive. We are not receiving any financial support for the ministry and this makes it very hard for us to be able to start a ministry in our neighborhood. At the end of last month, half of our renters left and we have only received half of our income this month. In addition, Erik's mom has needed all new teeth in her mouth for a very long time and it is now urgent that we take her to the dentist. This is going to cost us $2,000 for the entire treatment. we are also in the process of getting Maggie permanent residence in Mexico so she can stay for more than 6 months at a time and this can be an expensive process. Maggie applied for a job last month to be an English teacher and did not get it. As a result, this month, we are going to have to look for a job to be able to cover all these expenses. If you are interested in supporting us financially, we have a way you can do that. In order to move further ahead in doing ministry in our neighborhood, we need financial support. Please pray for us to have wisdom to make the best decision. Thank you for your prayers and we will be waiting to see what God will do this month.
