INTRODUCTION

Mahatma Education Society, one of the leading institutions for quality education, founded in the year 1970, is a living example of a vision linked irrevocably to national goals. The vision of Dr. K.M. Vasudevan Pillai (Founder, Secretary and CEO) and Dr. Daphne Pillai (Joint Secretary and Rector) guided the trust which grew from a single school into a multi-institution, multi-location group, delivering quality education at all levels. MES owns and manages over 48 institutions, from pre-primary to post-graduation. Well known as the Pillai Group of Institutions, this education major has its own teacher training institutes, which allow it to define its own standards and to achieve 100% results unfailingly. Pillais Campus in New Panvel houses seven educational institutes i.e, PiMSR (Management Studies), PIIT (Information Technology), PCASC (Arts, Science & Commerce), PICA (Architecture), PCER (B.ED, M.ED), E-MBA, Polytechnic and two hostels which receives a student posse of around 3,000 per day and are the major contributor to the local economy. Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research (PiMSR) was established in 199. It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognised by the AICTE and the Govt of Maharashtra. The Directorate of Technical Education, Govt of Maharashtra, has awarded the institute an A grade. PiMSR campus is a campus of excellence, a Business School with World Class Infrastructure. It has created an environment where the stake holders are invited and empowered to participate in the efforts to provide the quality and relevant education to the students passing through its campuses. NIRMITI 12 is a state level management festival conducted by the students of PiMSR which provides a unique platform for the students to polish, demonstrate and assess their management and business skills.

ABOUT NIRMITI

Popular 3-day mega state level management festival. The event attracts more than 8000 students and parents from in and around Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune and Nasik. MES has more than 48 institutions comprising of 3500 faculty and 40000 students resulting in extraordinary footfalls. All the events are managed by well-trained management students with faculty support. Sponsors will have an opportunity to display their products and services and interact with the large community of students, parents and faculty. Corporates can showcase their activities through displays, banners, movies, pamphlets, stalls and personal interaction.
