Markets are steady with good supplies coming out of Mexico and Peru. Markets are expected to increase in the coming weeks. Broccoli supplies are stable with good quality arriving from California and Virginia. Supplies are good with increasing demand. Quality is good as we await the new Florida crop. Market conditions are stable. Good supplies with good quality. Multi colored is available as well. Supplies are steady coming out of Santa Maria and Salinas. Michigan has finished. Georgia Corn is here with tighter supplies and smaller ears. The days become shorter causing crops to receive less sunlight. Cucumber markets are extremely strong as white fly has diminished supplies. Conditions will remain until Florida is harvesting. Quality is good. Eggplant supplies are good coming from Georgia. Markets are steady with good quality. Markets have tightened. Quality is fair to good with product coming primarily out of Georgia. Shelf life is limited. Markets are steady. Good supplies. Lettuce markets are stable. Quality is fair with instances of insect activity, tip burn and sun burn noted. The transition into Huron has begun. There are instances of cracked ribs as the larger heads are harvested and packed. This is apparent on the outermost leaves. All lettuces are showing fair quality with ample supplies. Leaf markets are slower. Quality has been fair to good. Some tip burn has been evident. Transition is here. Romaine quality has improved. Markets are stable with good quality being reported. Limited red rib conditions prevail as we see the end of the harvest. Spring mix quality has been good. Supplies are sufficient to meet demand. The mix may be different as we transition to Huron. Stronger supplies of most mushrooms with good quality. Supplies are plentiful coming from the Northwest growing regions. Supplies have improved and quality is good. Markets have eased. Supplies are good. Quality and volumes are tightening and growing areas move north. Green Pepper markets are steady with good supplies coming from Georgia. Quality is good. Quality product has been arriving from Wisconsin with good quality. Supplies are good. Supplies and quality are good. Arrivals are consistent from the West. Yellow Squash supplies are light as a result of white fly affecting Georgia growing areas. Zucchini supplies are good coming out of northern Florida and Georgia. Markets are active on round tomatoes. Floridas supply is not ready to harvest due to previous weather issues. Supplies from the West are limited to larger layer packed product. Conditions will remain as we await more locally grown product.

WA, NY, CA, imports The Apple season has started on some varieties. The market is strong as the new crops are just about ready. Crops will be less than last year keeping the market strong. New York and Michigan will be extremely light due to last seasons weather. California growing areas are winding down as Mexico compensates. Good overall quality. The supply has stabilized in the various growing regions. Color and quality are good. Volumes are coming on from Mexico. Quality is good. Supplies are good coming out of Argentina and Mexico. Good quality. Markets are stable. Markets have stabilized. Heavy bruising, overripening and pin rot are still prevalent. Oxnard growing areas should provide relief soon. Quality overall is good. Supplies are increasing. Florida product has begun. Good supplies and quality. Imports from Mexico have about 2 more weeks. Markets are steady with good supplies and quality. Larger sizes are prevalent. Markets are stable. Valencia quality has weakened. Navels are expected to begin in 3-4 weeks. Florida juice Oranges have begun. Green Grape harvesting has finished as we transition into storage supplies. Red Grape supplies are decreasing after a busy season. Black Grapes (two more weeks)and Red Globes are also available. Quality and volume are fine. Cantaloupe markets have tightened especially on the larger sizes as the Arizona crop begins. Honeydew supplies have tightened especially on smaller size fruit. Nogales has begun and is expected to provide some relief into next week. Brix levels will average lower as the new crop begins.

Supplies are tightening as Florida begins. Quality is fair to good. Bosc, Anjou and Bartlett varieties are coming from California and Washington. Quality has been good. Markets are strong based on supplies. Supplies have increased as the seasonal decrease in harvesting has passed. Brix has been averaging 12 with good internal gold color. Stone fruit is winding down from California. Black Plums are available. Season may have about another week. This will be the last update for he stonefruit until Chile begins.
