Now and after the holiday season

With the holidays in full swing it is vitally important that we do all that we can before the end of the year. Babies are dying every day and we can stop it with just one gift of $1.80, $750 per-member average, $100,000 and gifts of all levels. Please use this last week of to communicate thanks to your teams and begin setting up trainings and meetings for the new year. Be sure to have your midwinter conference plans in order with opportunities to highlight The Eliminate Project, recruit leaders and Model Clubs and recognize donors and clubs.

Do you have things to share or need information about a particular topic? Email Cristina at cgomez@kiwanis.org and we will include them in our next newsletter.

What if your holiday gifts could save childrens lives? In more than 30 countries, women and babies are still dying from maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT). A gift to The Eliminate Project this holiday season will help us eliminate MNT from the face of the Earth. What better way to honor a loved one, business associate or fellow Kiwanis member than to give a gift in his/her name? Or include The Eliminate Project in your own wish list: Tell your friends you wish to help make the world better for others. Making a holiday gift in someone's honor is easy. Simply click on the "Make a gift" link below and complete our secure online form. You can also print, complete and return The Eliminate Project gift/pledge form, designating "holiday" next to the "Gift" section. When you make a gift in someone's name, the individual will receive a postcard informing him/her of the gift made. This holiday season you can make a difference. Give or ask for a unique and meaningful gift that will help protect the connection between mothers and children.

Celebration and congratulations!
As we started recruiting our teams of division coordinators and club coordinators, we set an 80% of total recruitment goal by the end of the calendar year. Wed like to extend our congratulations to those teams and leaders who have already met this goal. We have two more weeks until the official end of the year and encourage you and your teams to continue submitting the names of your new volunteers. Thank you for all you do.
