Gia: Solus’ Beginning

Setting:
This first in a series, full length (174,127) Fantasy/Science Fiction adventure is set in an alternate
reality on a series of Worlds made and controlled by The One. It’s told in the third person, from
the narrator’s POV. It is set in early spring in the present time.

Characters:
Sandra (“Sandy”) Elizabeth y Georgio: The narrator is approximately 26. She is an office
worker in a typical conglomerate business. Unbeknown to her however, she is the granddaughter
of Solus the Immortal Eternal also known as The First. She’s 5’4”, with hazel eyes with blue
flecks, fair complexion with a dusting of light freckles across the bridge of her nose, and light
reddish/blonde shoulder length hair that she wears loose most times. Her passions are her red
Mustang convertible and Lyle her boyfriend; who betrays her at the beginning of the book.

William Solus (“The First”) Aeternus: Solus appears to be approximately 29 years old but is
actually older than the Universe. He is 6’3”, with dark brown hair, hazel eyes with blue flecks,
and a ruddy complexion. He was a theoretical physicist until an accident ripped a hole in the
time barrier and transported him back to the time before the “Big Bang.” After being bombarded
by the forces of creation he was changed into an Immortal Eternal. An Immortal being with all
the powers of creation at his disposal sealed by what appears as tattoos on his body but are
actually seven seals which help him control his unique abilities.

Kassandra (“Kassie”) Gia Aeternus: Kassie appears to be approximately 20 years old. She is
5’4”, with hazel eyes with blue flecks, fair complexion with a slight dusting of freckles across
her nose and reddish blonde hair that she wears loose most times. She is the companion and
bond mate of Solus. The One created her from Solus’ genetic material to help him adjust to the
Worlds. She is an Eternal from the world Paradise.

The One aka The Great One: The One appears to be approximately 70 years old. He is 6’5”,
with blue eyes, white hair, beard, and mustache, with a fair to ruddy complexion. He is an entity
that existed before the “Big Bang” that rescued Solus when he was transported back to that time.
After seeing all the possibilities for the Worlds in Solus’ mind, he started creation. The seven
seals of creations are actually his name.

Arlena Gia Elywene y Solus Alreik: Arlena is 15 nearly 16 years old. She is 5’3”, with hazel
eyes with blue flecks, fair complexion, and light reddish/blonde hair that she wears in a ponytail
most times. She is the youngest child of Lord Alreik and Lady Elywene and unbeknown to her is
also the child of Solus and Gia, one of a set of triplets sent to Elfriene.

Storyline:
The book opens with Sandy at work on a Friday afternoon when lightening from a spring shower
hits a block transformer. Her office closes early for the weekend and Sandy hurries home to find
Lyle having sex with their neighbor. Heartbroken she flees the apartment they share and
hysterically drives from the city in her convertible headed for her Grandmother’s house in the
mountains. As she tops a hill she finds an eighteen wheeled truck jack knifed at the bottom of
the rain slicked grade. Still in a dazed and confused state of mind she doesn’t try to stop but just
accepts what she feels is the inevitable. Right before she hits the truck a blue light surrounds her
and she loses consciousness. When she awakes she finds she has been transported to Rima Isle.
It is a small planetoid and single satellite circling a Black Hole and the current home of Solus.

Here she meets Solus, who transported her to Rima by traveling. He brought her here for the
purpose of posing a question which will determine what happens to her on Sol. To explain what
he actually is he begins telling her about how he became an Immortal Eternal. While eating an
elaborate dinner; we fade to a 3-D screen showing his life story.

His story begins with a normal birth on Sol, proceeds through his childhood, adolescence, and
young adulthood. During the middle of his second decade he meets Kassie whom rejects him for
another. In despair he turns to alcohol and severely destroys his job opportunities. Sober and on
his last leg he meets a former professor who recommends him for a research position for the
DOD. Throwing himself into his work he redeems himself to the professional community only
to suffer an accident that transports him through a rift in time when he accidentally creates a
fusion reaction at a decommissioned nuclear accelerator.

He is awakened by a kiss from Gia on the Planet Paradise. He originally mistakes her for Kassie
but soon learns there is a difference between the two. On Planet Paradise he meets The One who
explains that he saved Solus from death and created the Universe of the Worlds from the
memories that Solus brought with him from Sol. Because Solus was exposed to the forces of
creation, he is now an Immortal Eternal and is able to use and control all the forces of creation
except true life. The One further explains that Gia was created from Solus’ genetic material as a
companion and partner to help him live in these new worlds. Gia and he become attached to one
another and agree to become companions and bond mates when asked by The One. After several
mishaps, he completes his training on using his new abilities and The One installs both of them
as his Emissaries on the Worlds.

They travel to Elfriene as the first planet where they are installed as The Emissaries. The planet
is a pristine and beautiful planet full of mountains, seas, and vast forests where the people
resemble the elfish folk from the folklore on Sol. Here they meet Alreik and Elywene the Over-
rulers of Elfriene and Arlena their daughter. Unknown to Arlena she is one of the triplet
daughters of Solus and Gia sent to Elfriene and the only one surrogated by Elywene.

Accepting their roles as The Emissaries, Solus and Gia assume the roles of foster parents to
Arlena and begin training her how to use her abilities which she inherited from them. After
several demonstrations of his power and prowess at fencing, they are accepted as the Duke and
Duchess of Whispering Mountain and Ironwood Valley which gives them vast wealth and
political power on Elfriene.

This book ends with Arlena meeting her future consort Jonathan and traveling to the Planet
Paradise to be trained by The One in the use of her abilities.
