Abstract--Green technology is the development and application of products, equipment and systems used to conserve the natural environment and resources, which minimizes and reduces the negative impact of human activities Population growth is increasing. This paper says the Efforts to raise the standard of living of the many billions of people living in poverty should also continue. Therefore, the only way to achieve more sustainable development in the face of all that growth is through technology innovation Only if we can figure out how to house, feed, hydrate, transport, employ, heat, cool and nurture billions of people more efficiently will we be able to reduce green house gas emissions and maintain acceptable quality of life levels. To reduce the energy usage rate and at the same time increase Economic growth. To facilitate the growth of the green technology industry and enhance its contribution to the national economy. To ensure sustainable development and conserve the environment for future generations. To enhance public education and awareness on green technology and encourage its widespread use.

Keywords- e-Waste Management, Population growth, Global Warming. I. Introduction As the name implies green technology is one that has a green purpose. By green we do not mean the color, however, Mother Nature is quite green, and the long and short term impact an invention has on the environment is what we are talking about. Green inventions are environmentally friendly inventions that often involve: energy efficiency, recycling, safety and health concerns, renewable resources and more. II. Why Green Technology? The world has a fixed amount of natural resources, some of which are already depleted or ruined. For Example: household batteries and electronics often contains dangerous chemicals that can pollute the groundwater after disposal, contaminating our soil and water with chemicals that cannot be removed from the drinking water supply and the food crops grown on contaminated soil. The risks to human health are great. To reduce the energy usage rate and at the same time increase economic growth. To facilitate the growth of green technology industry and enhance its contribution to the national economy. To ensure sustainable development and conserve the environment for future generations.

III. Ideas for promoting Green technology E-waste management Electronic waste, e-waste, e-scrap or waste electrical and electronic equipment(WEEE) describes discarded electrical or electronic devices. There is a lack of consensus as to whether the term should apply to resale, reuse, and refurbishing industries, or only to product that cannot be used for its intended purpose. Informal processing of electronic waste in developing countries may cause series health and pollution problems, though these countries are also most likely to reuse and repair electronics. Some electronic scrap components such as CRTS, may contain contaminants such as lead, cadmium, beryllium, or brominated flame retardants. Some ways for e-waste management: Inventory management Production-process modification Volume reduction Recovery and reuse.

measure that answer to the threats of e-waste in these days and in the future. e-waste recycling laws generally employs two types of program: Producer take-back programs: manufacturers are responsible for taking back discarded electronics. Advance recovery fee: consumers have to pay an amount of money when they buy the product; the money is used to recycle the product. Reduce Global Warming Burning fossil fuels such us natural gas, coal, oil, and gasoline raises the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, and carbon dioxide is a major contributor to the green house effect an global warming. You can help to reduce the demand for fossil fuels, which in turn reduces global warming, by using energy more wisely. Here are some simple actions you can take to help to reduce global warming. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Drive less and Drive smart Use less Heat and Air Conditioning Buy Energy-Efficient Products. Reduce Greenhouse Effect The term greenhouse effect refers to the presence of gases in the Earths atmosphere that trap the Suns energy and increase the planets temperature as a result. Examples of greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).

As in the graph above e-waste is becoming bigger problem. It is a challenge to take a

Some ways to reduce Greenhouse effects are as follows: Limited usage of electricity Less usage of hot water Planting trees Avoiding deforestation Reduced usage of nitrous oxide emitting fertilizers in agriculture.

Agriculture Agriculture is an art, science and industry of managing the growth of plants and animals for human use. As it is well known that basically India is an Agricultural country it is one of the better ways to promote green technology. But it is not so now, as now most of the agricultural lands are converted into plots. Practicing agriculture in a regular manner will gradually promote green technology. It is very easy for us Indians to perform agriculture as it is our ancestral job. If this green revolution is practiced in a grand manner in India not only in promoting green technology but also our country will lead the world in food production and export. It will be a great income as well for our country and we will be dependent only on us and also the other nations for their main needs. Performing modern agriculture which makes the use of hybrid seeds of single crop variety, hi-tech equipments, fertilizers to produce large amount of single crops also deals with the development in green technology.

Usage of Solar Cells One of the best ways to develop green technology would be the usage of solar cells. A Solar cell directly converts the energy in the light into electric energy through the process of photovoltaic. Generating electricity from Solar energy means less consumption of fossil fuels, reducing pollution and greenhouse emissions.
