Applications are invited for appointment to the posts of Lecturer in Ayurveda and Unani and Associate Professor in Unani in A & U Tibbia College and Hospital purely on contract basis in the consolidated remuneration of `53000/-(Rs.Fifty three thousand only) for Lecturers, and `63000/-(Rs.Sixty three thousand only) for Associate Professors for a period of eleven (11) months only w.e.f. 01.03.2013 or till regular candidate joins, whichever is earlier on the following terms & conditions: 1) The appointment on the post of Lecturer is purely on contract basis and for a period of eleven (11) months only or till regular candidate from UPSC joins, whichever is earlier. In case there is a felt need to situation there will be a break in service on completion of eleven (11) months. 2) The Govt. of NCT of Delhi can terminate the services any time without assigning any reason. 3) Before appointment the candidate shall submit an affidavit stating that he / she will not claim any right for regular appointment to any post before any court of law. 4) The appointee can avail Casual leave, Earned leave (allowed within contract period) only as per admissible under Govt. rules. Leave of any kind for study will not be permitted. 5) LTC of any kind is not admissible. 6) No T.A/D.A. will be admissible at the time of interview. 7) The appointee shall be entitled to the benefit of the Delhi Government Employees Health Scheme applicable for serving employees in accordance with the subsisting terms & conditions contained in the scheme circulated by letter No. 342/52/2006-H&FW/29609-29812 dt. 25-10-2007. 8) List of the shortlisted candidates for interview will be displayed on college Notice Board. No postal intimation will be sent to the candidates. 9) The contractual appointee will not be entitled to any allowance, financial benefits or concessions as admissible to Govt. Employees.

10) The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of A&U Tibbia College and shall not accept any other appointment, paid or otherwise, and shall not engage himself or herself in private practice of any kind during the period of contract. The details of posts are as under:

Educational Qualifications: AYURVEDA-Lecturer Essential: 1. Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from a University established by law or a Statutory Board/Faculty/ Examining body of Indian medicine or equivalent and included in the Schedule II of the IMCC Act 1970. 2. Post Graduate Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine in subject concerned/allied from a University established by law or a Statutory Board/Faculty/ Examining body of Indian medicine or equivalent and included in the Schedule II of the IMCC Act 1970.
