Social Bookmarking
Bookmarking with delicious To get started, drop the Delicious bookmarklet in your browser bar and use it to add websites to themed stacks. Personalize each link with your comments and invite friends and colleagues to contribute their own links as well. You can keep your stack private, or, when its ready to share, publish your stack and help others discover your finds. Stacks Stacks can be about anything youre interested in - your favorite cookie recipes, how the federal budget works, or the worlds most atrocious sweaters. What is a stack? A stack is a collection of links built around a common theme, which can include the collector's commentary. They are a great way to present a more dynamic view of links rather than, say, a tag search result. Stack creators can choose link order, images, descriptions, and ultimately frame the conversation or topic with personal titles and comments. How do I share a link or a stack? You can click the arrow shaped share button on individual links or the "Share Stack" button on stacks to share them with friends on and off Delicious. You can also share a stack on Twitter or Facebook by clicking the "like" or "tweet" buttons just below the "Share Stack" button. Where are all the tools, buttons, bookmarklets and widgets? They're all located on the Tools page; you'll also find a link to the Tools page at the bottom of every page on Delicious. For more info: http://www.delicious.com/help#title0 Entering and choosing tags If you have trouble coming up with tags, look at the recommended or popular tags at the bottom of the form. Note that you can also use other languages, including Arabic, for tags! You can also add notes about the link as reminders for yourself or comments to others. You can make the link private if you prefer not to share it. Also note the Send tag (below). This is a way in which delicious users can send links to others through delicious, via Twitter, or by email. For example, want to share a link with us, type for:socialmediaexchange or go to https://secure.delicious.com/settings/people/ network and add socialmediaexchange to your network. Well add you back. You can also use Network bundles to create a bookmarking group.
