Mma Precious Ramotswe is big fat African lady who has an instinctive talent for solving mysteries.

She sets up the first ladies detective agency in Botswana (her city in Africa). She is going to be our storys main character.

Development of the Story There was a worker that was stealing money and she uncovered him. He lost his job and the boss was very happy When she was a young girl she lived with her daddy in town. They had cattle and lived in peace. She was very good at school. She was a clever girl in deed. When she was 16 she decided to go to the city and live with her cousin. She started working with her cousins she husband learnt in a bus company. As she was good with figures quickly. Unfortunately, there was something wrong with money. The money figures did not add up and she told the boss. After she met Noti, a trumpet player, and she married him. Her daddy did not like him but they got married. The truth is he was not kind to her. He hit her and made her lose her baby. Noti abandoned her. Then, she went back to her daddy and look after him for many years. Her daddy was not well; he had worked on the minas for many years. The dust from the minas made him ill. with Mma Ramotswe.

When her Daddy died she sold the cattle and opened her Ladies detective agency. She bought an

office and employed a secretary. Then different cases started.

At the beginning it was not easy. But it started to work nicely. People were coming to her for help!

There was this woman, Mma Happy Papetsy, who was looking after her daddy; she had a big house and a good job. She thought that he was an impostor. Her daddy abandoned her when she was little. So Mma She Ramotswe investigated.
