THE DWINDLEMENT OF RELATIONSHIPS.

Relationship can be defined as an act of communication between two parties having common interests. Relationships can be further broken down as blood relationships such as brothers, sisters , mother and father. Other types of relationships can be qualified as associations such as friendships, marriage and colleagues at work. Man has been defined as a social animal. Humans need to interact with other counter parts of their same species for enjoying a proper and balanced psychological health. It is interesting to note here that prisoners, who are put in isolation cells, suffer a great psychological trauma. The experiences of a human being define its own relative truth. No truth is the absolute truth. Truths are only in relation to something. Hence relationships also are relative to cultures and experiences. As the life of a person progresses on, that particular being have new experiences in life. These new experiences redefine their relationship with rapport to others. Sometimes these new relationships create new ideologies and most beings tend to fight for their own ideologies. Normally a shock follows when that being learns that the whole creation is not about him/her but something else. We are only a speck of dust in the infinity of the creation. It should be noted that changes in the way relationships are honoured do take aback some parties involved. This is principally due to the nature of expectation within a relationship. The Buddha rightly said where there is expectation there is bound to be frustration as well As an ending note: we should be able to understand that some relationships do dwindle over time due to the ever changing nature of things.
