Target setting workbooks due March 31

As a reminder, target setting workbooks are due March 31. All of your division coordinators have received these books and materials. Even if your cluster meeting is after March 31, please submit your completed workbooks at the end of the month. * For cluster meetings post March 31, be sure to submit the goal setting workbooks after this date.

For continuous success, build a pipeline

During the Year of Participation we need to be sure to welcome Model Clubs weekly. How do we ensure that clubs are being confirmed, clubs are being asked and clubs are being presented to you see this is a multi-step process. By following these steps we ensure that no week goes without saving women and babies. Lets build that Model Club pipeline! Present to clubs Set up presentations with clubs and make an explicit ask to present to the board or ask the club to vote on becoming a Model Club. We dont want to be pushy, but we do want to be clear. We need to leave the club meeting knowing that they will vote and get back to us or that we are needed to present to the board or club again. Tip: dont leave the club meeting without a follow up date. Ask clubs to be Model Clubs If we dont ask, we dont know. Remember, a clubs reaction to your asking them to be a Model Club is not personal. We are asking on behalf of the women and babies their commitment could save. Lets not make decisions for our clubs, saying to ourselves oh, that club would never become a Model Club. Instead, lets present the case, show them how Model Clubs is achievable and ask. Welcome new Model Clubs to our life saving work! After we have presented, follow up and asked, remember to document the commitment and send it to Cristina at international office. You, your teams and your clubs can email or fax those forms directly to her at 317-217-6562. You can call in to the campaign office to hear the bells ring for the lives your new Model Club is saving!

Cluster meeting tips from around the world

Belgium: project the target setting workbook on the screen and record the results of your team meeting live! This will generate excitement and encourage our teams to thoughtfully consider their divisions potential. Alabama: use your cluster meeting to confirm pending Model Clubs. This will not only save more women and babies but will provide our new Model Clubs to share their fundraising best practices and great ideas Did you know that the Kiwanis magazine highlights which clubs are nearing an anniversary? Could the club celebrate their anniversary by becoming a Model Club at your cluster meeting?! This list is near the end of every issue.
