School GRADE III- IPIL Detailed lesson Plan In Mathematics 3 I-OBJECTIVES At the end of 70-minutes discussion, the grade III pupils are expected to do the following with at least 75% proficiency level: a. Identify the parts of a pictograph; b. Describe the parts of a pictograph; and c. Cooperate actively in class activity. 1. DRILL I have pictures here. All you have to do is to name each picture that Ill show to you. Did you understand? (The teacher will show the pictures.) A banana. What is this? Very Good! An apple. How about this? Correct! Yes, sir.

Your answer should be pasted on the manila paper provided to you. Then if you are done with your answers, your leader will post your work on the board. The first group that will post the correct words on the board will be declared as the winner. I will give you 5 minutes to do your activity. Did you understand? You may start now.

Pictograph is a pictorial representation of data. The parts of pictograph are title, label and legend.

The title of the graph can be found at the top of the graph. The title of the graph is Pupils Favorite Colors

We can find the label at the left side of the graph.

The information of the label tells the different colors. We can find the legend at the bottom of the graph.
