About the Department About the Programme: The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the

year 1996. The Department offers B.E Degree programme in ECE and three PG programmes in M.E (VLSI Design), in M.E (Communication Systems) and in M.E (Embedded System Technologies). The Department of ECE has modern facility in both hardware and software in all the laboratories. The Department has the facility to provide the finishing school in CISCO Networking (CCNA), VLSI Design and Embedded Systems. Research work is being carried out in the areas of VLSI Design, DSP/ DIP, Adhoc and Wireless networks. The Department has secured several AICTE funded projects under the scheme of RPS and MODROBS. The Department is approved by Anna University as Nodal Centre for Research. About the College Easwari Engineering College, a Division of the prestigious SRM Group of Educational Institutions is affiliated to Anna University. The college is certified by ISO 9001:2008 (TUV) and has also been accredited by NBA, New Delhi. The college offers 7 UG courses and 8 PG courses.
