operating staff. General Description The MODEST-PES Station Interlocking Equipment serves for railway station operation interlocking and control of any extent. Its modular structure enables to reach attractively priced solutions both for small stations, and for the largest junctions. Its hierarchic distributed control enables to link together controls of several stations. The system also offers remote control and creation of dispatcher centres. The applied conception enables to adapt the control system to railyard modications. The construction process may be implemented in separate stages, too. The hot-standby system together with excellent diagnostics provides uninterrupted operation. Basic Technical Description The successor of the MODEST System where the major innovation lies in its fully electronic design. The system enables the control by several operators with dened authorizations (hierarchy, controlled circuits, functions). Each operator may have available several large-screen LCD displays that show the situation in the railyard. Control with a keyboard and a trackball (mouse). The access to the equipment will be protected by chip cards. Used components are made by renowned manufacturers guaranteeing spare part availability for many years. The production and testing are executed according to the tightest standards of ISO and CENELEC norms. Training for operators and maintenance staff is a matter of course. Operators are trained on operation simulators without any risk that accident situations can arise. The manufacturer offers support in the form of external maintenance, or a 24/7 hot line. The operation is recorded and archived. Subsequently this serves for clarications of accidents. The long-term data statistical processing serves for planning of railyard modications. You can choose an option allowing you to control associated technologies e.g. point heating, railyard illumination, etc. Interconnectability with weighing systems, camera supervisions, electronic interlocking signalling (EZS), electronic reprotection systems (EPS), or company in-house information systems (IS).
