FAMILY WORSHIP GUIDE Ephesians 2:1-10

Introduction: Ephesians speaks in blunt terms about the condition of man and the sway of Satan over mankind. Scripture also speaks bluntly about the transforming power of God, not only to save, but to change. The one living under Satans sway is rebellious towards God. The one living by the power of God is rebellious toward Satan and the world.

Discussion: In what ways do you see Satan alive and well in our day?

Explanation: Why is Satan referred to as the prince of the power of the air? (2:2)

What is meant by Children of wrath?(2:3)

How much of our salvation is dependent on us? (2:1, 8-9)

What is the expected response to Gods work? (2:10)

Application: When do Christians fail to see the darkness of Satans work?

What good works has God determined for you to do? (2:10)

Fight Verses: For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (Eph 2:8 -10)
