Jeff: Well, I have just arrived from the supermarket Claudio: Eh... Where are the others? Jeff: Oh, Liud is at her neighbours house and the others still have n t (?) come back from class. What about you? Claudio: Great! This morning we went to our classes, then we went to have lunch at the Square. And, after that, we went to our afternoon classes. Idaira: Yes, when we finished our afternoon clases we went to the library because we have to prepare a presentation about host families. Jeff: Oh, thats interesting. Idaira: Yes, but when we were there, we thought that, maybe, you could tell us about your experience. Claudio: Yes, because you have been a member of a host family for three years, havent you Jeff? Jeff: Yes, Three years, since 2010 Claudio: And... can you tell us about your experience, Jeff? Jeff: Of course! the truth is that it is a great (?) and enriching experience. Being part of a host family has allowed (?) me to meet a lots of people, come into contact with many cultures (countries ?) , and different ways of understanding life. Idaira: Yes, but... is that not a big responsibility? Jeff: Of course, very big responsability. Claudio: Eh... Have you ever lived a bad experience? Jeff: Oh! Funny experiences! I can remember three years ago, one of the students who stayed here, did nt come back home until late, we began to worry (?) and then, we called the family to ask if he knew anything about him. Claudio: Yes? Really? Jeff: Oh, yes, the next morning we were called from the hospital. Idaira: Wow Jeff: Apparently, he had drunk a few drinks because his friend s (?) birthday and, he could not remember where he lived. Idaira: Oh my God, you did nt sleep at all, did you?. Jeff: No, no, neither Luid nor I could sleep a wink (?)

Idaira: Wow, I can not imagine how worried you were... Jeff: I felt a mixture of feelings, anxiety (?) exhaustion and worry. Claudio: Yes, but I imagine that you have had more positive experiences than negatives ones, havent you Jeff? Jeff: Well, every day something funny happens. Idaira: Yes, every day something funny happens like the party which we celebrated last night for Kadirs birthday. Claudio: Yes, I had so much fun at the party. Idaira: Of course, we had fun, and also we learned about Kim, Kadir and Salem cultures, and we heard some of your interesting anecdotes. Jeff: Well, you have take into consideration (?) than at the moment, in the house there are five different nationalities living together. Claudio: Yes? Five? Jeff: Of course, Kim is Korean, Salem is Lebanese, Kadir is Turkish, you are Spanish and Liud and I are English. Claudio: Yes, yes. Thats right! The truth is that going abroad to study a new language is a wonderful experience, because you can learn and improve your English, you can also meet new people as well as do a lot of sightseing. Idaira: Yes. Of course, We are doing a lot of interesting things here, we are going to the cinema, we are learning a lot in our classes, we are seeing the sights, and we are having fun times with you. Claudio: Yes, we have been very lucky. Idaira: We are meeting lots of really interesting and funny people here. We hope to keep in touch with them and, above all, with you, Jef. Jeff: Oh! Dont worry. Of course! You know, we will never lose touch (?). Claudio: Yes, of course. I hope so.
