Zombie Run: Charlotte Vendor Village Information


Vendors have the opportunity to sell, market, and promote products and services to The Zombie Run event participants. Our vendor village is conveniently located at the Start and Finish Zone, which serves as a congregation point for runners and spectators. Vendors will be incorporated within our Quarantine Party, which will feature live entertainment by WEND Radio, food and beer, family-friendly activities, and photo stations. Vending Space ($500) Includes: 10x10 vending space 1 table 2 folding chairs Organization logo and name listed on vendor village section of website 10x10 pop-up tent rental (available for additional $150) 1 bag stuffer (available for additional $350)

Event Date: May 19, 2013 Event Venue: Cabarrus Arena Vendor Load-in: 9AM-11AM Anticipated Participation: 5000 (3500 runners, 1500 spectators) Gender Breakdown: 44% female, 56% male Average Age: 30 years old (SD= 10.5 years old)

About The Zombie Run:

The Zombie Run is not your typical hometown 5K run, unless of course, your hometown is infested with an army of marauding Zombies. By using the popular Zombie theme, The Zombie Run creates a running narrative on a racecourse designed like a Hollywood Apocalypse movie-set, with smoke, sirens, and helicopters flying overhead. Participants who can register as humans must run to safety while dodging a harrowing barrage of apocalyptic carnage. Professional, on-site make-up artists transform normal, everyday, warm-blooded runners into blood sucking, flesh eating Zombies. If you survive, there is a party following the race. The Zombie Run benefits Active Heroes (www.activeheroes.org), a volunteer-led charity helping veterans, active duty military and their families. A portion of proceeds from the Charlotte event will benefit RunningWorks.
