1. Brief Profile

Dr. K.V.Subramanian, is a graduate engineer and doctorate (Fellow) in Management from the
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore). His dissertation was on comparative analysis of
organisations for the promotion of decentralised forms of Renewable Energy to Rural areas. The
organisations and processes covered for this dissertation included Local banking institutions,
service providers from the SME segment for installation of Bio gas plants, promoting
organisations such as the KVIC at the central level and KVIBs at the state levels. He has extensive
exposure / experience in working with small producers in the rural areas in sectors such as Coir,
Silk, Biogas plants. He has experience in Evaluation of sectors funded by International funding
agencies such as the World Bank and the UNICEF. He is a management expert with 30+years of
holistic and diverse experience in management consulting, for the government and the
development sector. He possesses a unique and valuable combination of technical background,
management consulting, and e-governance experience, covering the government, infrastructure
and development sectors. He can seamlessly cut across hierarchical levels as well as functional
areas and work with diverse stakeholders. His co-ordination, communication ability to handle
