3. Introduce the sorting game and explain the directions. The directions and game can be found at the bottom of the lesson plan. 4. With a student show an example of how to play the game. 5. Split the class into partners and have them play the game. 6. Play the game for at least 15 minutes. Walking around making sure they know what they are doing. 7. CLOSURE: Come back to whole group and see what they thought of the game andif they can identify what a consumer is and what a producer is. F. Assessment: (bullet points) What will you use to measure student understanding? I would measure student understanding by walking around and making sure they are getting the piles on the right answer. Explain how you will know students understand the concepts from the lesson. The students would understand the concepts by getting them in right piles of consumer and producer G. Reflection: (answers to assignment specific questions) 1. Which part of the lesson do you think will be the easiest for you to teach? The part of the lesson easiest to teach would be explaining the game. 2. Which part will be most challenging for you to teach? The most challenging part of the lesson would be explaining how money, consumers, and producers come together. 3. How will you follow up or extend this lesson? I would extend this lesson by adding more cards to the game.

4. What will you do for students who dont grasp the concepts? For students who didn't understand the concept I would pull them into small group. 5. Which part of the lesson, if any, do you think might need to change? I would change in the lesson the part of how to explain how money,consumers, and producers are alike and maybe focus more on that. 6. When you were writing this lesson plan, what was the most difficult part? The most difficult part of the lesson was getting the pdf into the lesson plan!
