F 14.4 Awards Presentation Scripts

Notes Before Beginning: Refer to the awards eligibility policy, listings and descriptions in the FLL Awards section. Awards are especially meaningful to teams when they know why they won. Make every effort to have your judges give you some information for your tournament script about why that team won the award. Be sure to give enough attention to handing out FLL Medallions to all of the participants. Keep in mind that for some teams, this will be the only award they bring home. It takes extra time to give out the medallions to each team, but it gives the kids a chance to celebrate their The FLL Medallion Coaches, mentors, and kids dedicate at least eight weeks, fifty hours or more, to embracing science and technology as accessible, fun, and rewarding. This experience makes a difference in communities, schools, families, and individuals. Team members learn and share, astounding those around them with new information and revelations as they learn how to contribute to the world. As FLL veterans, team members can intelligently discuss concepts that many other people find difficult and intimidating. They also know how to share and develop ideas as part of a small, hardworking, closely-knit team. The process that got them to this point defines each one of them as an FLL champion and winner, and this medallion recognizes and celebrates this achievement. Now, may I call up Team________ to get their medallions.
