Defraggler, developed by Piriform, is a free donationware defragmentation utility, which allows users to defragment individual files on their computer system. Defraggler can defragment individual files, groups of files (in a folder) or an entire disk partition, either by the user's command or automatically on a schedule. PROCEDURE/STEPS 1) In www.piriform.com, students downloaded software such as recuva,speccy,defraggler and Ccleaner. 2) These softwares were installed into the computer 3) Students worked particularly on each and every software. 4) In recuva, files were copied and then deleted and recovered using recuva. 5) In speccy, each specification were made clear to students. 6) In defraggler , quick analyze and quick defragmentation was done 7) In Ccleaner, unwanted files were removed from computer. 8) And after the finish of work, students uninstalled the softwares using Ccleaner. 6. LAB EXERCISE 1) All menu present in the software was practiced. Recuva. 1) An image was created and copied from internet. 2) The file was then deleted 3) And it was then searched through recuva and recovered the same image. Speccy 1) All the specifications menu in the left side corner was observed. 2) how many memory slots computer has and what memory's already installed was checked. 3) Speccy was used to quickly list out the components. Defraggler. 1) Using defraggler, all the drives were defragged. 2) Quick analyze was done and the health of disc was : GOOD CCleaner 1) Using CCleaner , unwated files were removed. 2) About 77.3MB files were removed from the computer.

RESULTS

After using the software CCleaner, 77.3 MB amount of files were removed. Using sodtware defragger, quick analyze and quick defrag was done.

Using Recuva, the highlighted file was recovered.

Using speccy, feautures were explored to more detail. Information of specification was understand better by students.

CONCLUSION The Unwanted files can be removed by using software Ccleaner. The Lost and accidentally deleted files can be easily recovered by using recuva The Defragmentation can be done with the help of defraggler.
