Could schools please fill out the sheet following regarding numbers in each year group to help us
get a better indication of how many will be in each race. The races can then be organised more
effectively. Please email or fax this sheet back to us. Schools also need to nominate and name
the two people who will be helping out on the day as marshals. Please see your schools area
of Responsibility for marshalling on the attached map.

We will be selling food and drink throughout the day. We will be holding a sausage sizzle available
at both the junior and senior cross country races. It will start up shortly after the first race has
finished and will run for the duration of other races. The cost of all food items will be $1. Other
items for sale will include lamingtons, cookies, chippies and popcorn. We are also inviting a coffee
cart vendor to be on-site so that parents may be able to purchase decent coffee! We hope this
makes the day more pleasant for our spectators!

(Note: Water will also be provided for children as they finish their races, however please encour-
age your children to bring their own!)

The event may be held in inclement weather so please feel free to bring Gazebos etc! If the
weather is harsh we will cancel and let you know A.S.A.P! If you have doubts please phone me at
school after 7:30a.m on the morning!

There will be a short prize-giving ceremony following the conclusion of the last race each group i.e
Seniors / Juniors. Medals (Gold. Silver and Bronze) will be awarded to the first three place-
getters in each race.

Many Thanks

• Teachers are to assist runners to warm up and perform stretching exercises prior to their
race.
• Marshals will be strategically placed around the course.
