TRAFFICKING
Since the hit
show A Different
World debuted
in the late 1980s
it is not an un-
derstatement to
think of the show
as the single most
important cultural
achievement for
historically black
colleges and uni-
versities in Ameri-
can history, and
one of the top fve pop cultural achievements
for African-Americans. Its impact on exposing
the value and social construct of the HBCU is
but a subtext to a larger scope of showing per-
sonable young African-Americans from diverse
backgrounds as intelligent, humorous and in-

trospective in their educational pursuits.
A Different World still brings a powerful artistry
to the benefts of the HBCU's. What better voice
to bring to the forefront of the epidemic of Child
Sex Traffcking to the socially conscious, family-
centered faculty, intimate community setting,
conservative yet-well meaning administration,
and all of the campus trappings, than the none
other 6 time NAACP award winning and star of
the show Jasmine Guy
MISSION
The Mission of the I Am Not Yours Project is
to spread awareness and contribute funding to
organizations who are in the fght against child
sex traffcking.
With spokesperson, Jasmine Guy we intend to
reach people in particularly college students all
across America to help END child sex traffck-
ing! Co Founder/CEO, Mona Stephen
As many as 2.8 million children run
away each year in the US. Within
48 hours of hitting the streets, one-
third of these children are lured
or recruited into the underground
world of prostitution and pornogra-
phy (The National Center for Miss-
ing and Exploited Children). The
average age of entry for children
victimized by the sex trade indus-
try is 12 years of age, according to
the U.S. Department of Justice.
Child / Human Traffcking is one of
the fastest growing crimes in the
world. It is the worlds second larg-
est criminal enterprise, after drugs.
(U.S. State Department) In an ef-
fort to continue to spread aware-
ness about child sex traffcking in
America, and to put an END to it
THE I AM NOT YOURS! HBCU
Do Something About It Tour is a
national opportunity to galvanize
the community, and to encourage
forward thinking young minority
students to be full of fortitude and
education while also helping them
to understand that they can have a
strong voice in the terrible epidem-
ic of Child Sex Traffcking. They
too can make a difference through
awareness and
mentorship.

LIVING WATERS FOR GIRLS
Living Water for Girls is open and state licensed to
offer a long-term comprehensive program for 10
girls at a time, in the12-17 year old age group. Ser-
vices being provided are individual, group, family,
and addiction counseling; on-site home-school edu-
cation, GED and vocational services; and life-skills
training and spiritual wellness.
Living Water for Girls is located in a safe undis-
closed rural area away from known predators. Resi-
dents will participate in the planning and preparation
of their own meals; engage in recreational activities
that build strong minds, bodies and spirits; plant,
cultivate and maintain organic gardens; and partici-
pate in other progressive therapeutic activities that
engage them in building positive self-images and
esteem, as well as healthy life styles and relation-
ships.
Living Water for Girls combats sexual traffcking
and commercial sexual exploitation through rais-
ing awareness, providing a safe therapeutic refuge,
and an aftercare wraparound program. Throughout
2009, we have had the opportunity to speak out,
to raise awareness of the evil that is commercial
sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). Thankfully,
over 14,122 people have become aware and many
are active in the battle against this horrible crime by
their involvement with LWG and other community
advocacy programs. Through simply raising aware-
ness 23 youth lives have already been spared, by
The Benefciaries
not committing suicide or running away. Our
services also identifed, addressed and reported
sexual abuse towards one teenager which led
to the perpetrator being arrested, charged and
convicted with the crime of rape.
A FUTURE. NOT A PAST
Our initial work to end child sex traffcking was
focused mainly on serving victims. Several
years after Angelas House was established,
we realized that if you just save victims, there
will always be a new victim to save. To truly
protect children, you need to create a culture
that will prevent further exploitation by pimps
and buyers. So in 2007, we created A Future.
Not A Past. (AFNAP), a landmark campaign
designed to fght the demand for the prostitu-
tion of our children in Georgia. We address the
issue through a four-tiered strategy of research,
prevention, intervention and education.
Some of our accomplishments include commis-
sioning research to quantify the extent of the
problem in Georgia; training over 3,000 law en-
forcement offcers; and successfully advocating
for Georgia HB200, which modifed and expand-
ed the scope of Georgia's Human Traffcking
Law. A Future. Not A Past. has been replicated
in states across the country.
