Our third week in BA is drawing to a close WHAT A WEEK! So much is happening here in Bnos Achdus we are having the time of our lives!!! Thanks to our spunky, ruachdik campers and counselors, there is never a dull moment here in Bnos Achdus- in fact, EVERYTHING in

Bnos Achdus is gevaldig! The halls in BA are still filled with ruach, singing, dancing, laughing, and water balloons! Yes, weve had quite a week here in BA- well start from the beginning: Monday: Honk,

Bnos Achdus- what are we gonna do? WASH THEM CARS!!! WASH THEM CARS- OH YEAH!! Who ever knew that Johnny and Greg with the Bnos Achdus Team give FREE car washes? Monday in Bnos Achdus was of course, a smashing success! Zooming around in our go karts having a blast on our water slide (baruch dayin haemes- were sad to see you go!). We made adorable Tefilas Haderech wooden signs with actual cars- to be hung up in your cars! Don't forget to take your projects home! The popular sport today was none other than KICKBALL!!! You should have seen our 3rd and 4th graders get heated up as the game intensified

Bnos Achdus is enthralled by an astounding m,agic show!!!

After an abundance of cheering and ruach, we all headed for our most- awaited activityCARWASHING, which turned into more of a crazy, wacky, dancing, and singing water fight! Everyone was drenched... unfortunately our staff had to go home in that state

We loved having freshly washed (or scratched:) cars! Thank you Bnos Achdus Team! Once again, another awsome day in BA! TUESDAY- Abra Kadabra, Kadabra DOOOOO!!!!! Tuesday was Magic day in Bnos Achdus! Shortly after we arrived, we were off on the buses to Camp Ateres for an incredible, jaw dropping, magical, mind-reading and magic show by one and only renown.... Marc Garfinkel!!!! After crazy cheering, and bus singing competitions between the buses on the Boulevard, we finally arrived. We were greeted with special welcome signs- thank you, Camp Ateres!

Phelps had us rolling on the floor with their hilarious, cute, and awesome half-time performance- way to go, we're so proud of you! The load speakers were booming, filling us in, WANTED: and the referees were blowing their whistles, and Bnos Counselor Avigail Achdus made the perfect cheerleading squad! What a fun game to watch and be part of! We all got yummy ices, and Perlman skipped off home, wondering what would be in store for CRIME: Wednesday! Pouring ice down Wednesday- Mazal Tov! We would like to send our wellcampers backs!!! wishes to our new mothers in the labor and delivery ward of Bnos Achdus Birthing Center! Yes, Wednesday was none other than Mommy Baby Day!!! Donned in various forms of head coverings, (including the latest style- bathing suit We sang our amazing theme song and tichels) each new mommy received a baby of her very own, showed them how much ruach and spunk made of a balloon and water! As baby-raising requires much we have! But, we still remembered that " patience, love, and devotion, workshops were held for some (BNOS) ACHDUS is our goal, and we'll of our new mommies, where we held an open-forum achieve it!". Marc amazed us all, while discussion on how to properly raise our babies. We are still turning paper into real birds, grasping fire, waiting to see just which talented BA-er will be able to keep melting spoons with fingers, throwing her baby around for the longest! (weve already had several bowling balls, attaching cut rope, looping poppings this week!) Main activity was The Mommy Mystery metal rings, and spookily reading our Game as several (real) mommies were called and gave us minds! We were truly blown away! Whats game! Of course we can't forget the halffor tying in Trench! Third it gonna be??? Stay tuned time- Faigy Pollack and Chaya Sarah and Fourth Grade and Fifth and Sixth Grade bunks blew us away with their energy as they each spent an entire half hour on their feet in an A WORD FROM OUR SHIUR COUNSELOR: intense aerobics sessions with Since this summer our Shiur theme is Tefilla, this week Rochel Wachs, our aerobics instructor! We learned about Rebbetzin LIVE animals- horses, ducks, piglets, bunny Kanievsky, AH, who would do Hafroshas Challah every week and rabbits- an entire petting zoo- had made their we heard stories about different women who would join her, and way over to Bnos Achdus parking lot! Bnos whose tefillos were answered. Enjoy the Hafroshas Challah Achdus had a farm- E-I-E-I-O!!! Every single magnets! girl in BA was able to ride on the horses, and pet and feed the animals! Wow- what a fabulous day!!!

REMINDERS:
- On Monday, Erev Tisha Baav, there will be early 2:00 dismissal. On Tuesday, Tisha Baav, there will be no camp. On Wednesday, camp resumes as usual. - Campers should be arriving no earlier than 9:00 am every day. There is no supervision prior to official day camp hours, and we are concerned for the safety of your daughters. - Davening takes place in camp; please make sure your daughters bring a siddur with them to camp. - Please send your daughters with bathing suits every day. We will not be swimming during the nine days, but there will be water activities for which bathing suits may be needed. - Absolutely no peanut butter is allowed in camp. - The head counselors can be reached at either (267) 226-2820, or (215) 266-6359. Feel free to call us any time, in camp or out! Were here for you whenever!

*TIPS-IMPORTANT:
We are now nearing the end of the first month of the summer, which was BH a true success largely due to our unbelievably competent, responsible, ruachdik, all- around SUPER staff- each member putting in her all to make Bnos Achdus the amazing place that it is! As a token of Hakaras Hatov, we would like to request that each camper be sent to camp next week with a total of $25, which will be divided and presented to her counselor(s) and the specialty staff. feed and pet the animals WOW! What a day!!! Friday- With Morah Bassy in Shiur we learned about Parshas Devarim Davening was gishmak, as usual We splashed into WATER FUN- watch out!!! Drip, drip, drop- Beware! Attention Hawaiian Girls- our First and Second grade- you did GREAT at aerobics!!! Not to mention our CITs! Pat yourselves on the back! From activities and on to Challah Baking with Bassy!!! YUM!!! We definitely did not forget to do Hafroshas Challah! Kickball Gokarts and Shabbos Party with an exclusive performance by our Fifth and Sixth Grade High Flyers! Yasher Koach! Dearest Bnos Achdus, thanks for another incredible, ruachdik, amazing, gevaldig, crazy fun week!!! Keep on smiling! We cant wait to see you all next week! Have a great Shabbos WE LOVE YOU! THE MAGIC SHOW!!!

By Tehilla Wachs Abra Kedabra! Tuesday was the funnest daywith the magician. He made the birds come out as we all shrieked and huddled into a corner. He called me up and he melted and bent a spoon in my hand, and it was really freaky and scary and fun! Then, he let me keep the spoon, which was already broken by then. We had a blast! Bnos Achdus is the best!
