Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for taking the time to review my application.

This is in response to your advertisement in the Courier Mail for staff at the new WOW Oxley store.
I possess the skills required to fill most of the roles advertised, but I am specifically interested in the
positions for the role of Home Theatre Specialist, Computers/Home office Specialist or Service
Personnel.
My previous experience with customer service in the Electronics Industry when I worked at Telefix
QLD, who I believe are one of your service providers, will make me very useful to WOW in any role.
My exposure to consumer electronics at home through my Father who is an electronics technician, and
also in the workplace at Telefix QLD, has given me a sound knowledge in product specification and
diversity. It has also given me an insight into brand reliability and build quality, which is essential
when choosing the right product.
My degree in Multimedia Design, and in fact my work at the Queensland Brain Institute and SmartViz
has provided me with in depth experience in using Windows, OSX and various forms of Linux based
computers.
Through my degree I have learnt a lot about computers. How they work, how they break, but more
importantly, how they are used by people and for what purpose. This understanding is critical in
choosing the right computer, by discovering a person’s usage intents and applications I could direct
them in choosing the right computer for them.
I believe I can be a positive part of the new 50+ team that will be Oxley WOW. I have excellent
communication and conflict resolution skills that will not only help with team management, but also in
customer service.
I look forward to meeting with you in the future to discuss this opportunity further.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Ninness
