Flemington - Form Analysis 20 July 2013 Suggested Bets below based on Win, Each Way and Best Roughie

Selections Race 1 Not the best starts to the day and an even affair. Quite a few up in class and a toss of a coin whether you go with horses coming off non-city form (in particular Geelong Synthetic, which holds up ok) or go with a couple of the more credentialed runners. Of those Agulhas is probably the best horse in the race but form has been poor so far this preparation. Good and Hot and They Call me Bolt both coming off wins and that might be the way to go, alternatively Yuleba and possibly Cannes Destination (Adelaide horse coming over) could also figure. No idea to be honest and a race where any of them could win. If you need to have a bet recommend Agulhas providing she rediscover her form from early 2013. Race 2 Six last start winners and lots of others with last start placings. The obvious is Under the Louvre, stable in form and Tony Vasil very positive about him after the last run. Worth a Ransom impressive in her maiden, Mick Price brings him to straight to the city and Boss gets the ride. Lots of the others look ok but going with the two in the market. Resistant will run its usual honest race. Race 3 Longeron has a horror draw but still might be too good. Quick Snitzel, Grand Slam Eagle, Space, Edgewood, Tooleybuc Kid all have claims. Space back in distance but not sure, think he might be better 2000m plus. Edgewood came like a train when going down to Space, so I think the extra distance and Flemington will suit but will still needs to jump better than last time. Hopefully the stable have sorted that out. Grand Voyaguer best roughie. Race 4 A very even affair. Stick on is the obvious, Impulse Boy good last start and About Square only 0.2 lengths of Hai Lil but possible query at 1100m and four runs for no wins at Flemington. Falcent is an interesting runner, has talent albeit inconsistent but probably worth a ticket. Sari has a first up win and placing and in her short career has never missed a placing and looks the best bet. Backing against Stick On making 4 out of 4 given it is his first time to Saturday racing just a hunch but could be wrong) Race 5 Another even bunch. Clanga's Glory very good last start and due another win but no wins at Flemington after 5 attempts, same for Spacecraft (0/8). Under the Hat frustrates and a win wouldnt surprise but has cost me too much to invest again. Best options look to be Road Trippin and Infinite Energy. The latter is better at the weights and has a course and distance win, however Road Trippin has an exemplary second up record and the stable is in form. Digitalism and Vizhaka other possibles and better than they look on paper. Best roughie Noble Park if he can rediscover his form as a 3-4 year old

Race 6 The Cleaner horrible last start but has class and shouldnt be ignored. Exceptionally, second up and has form at a higher level but always seems to find bad luck. Oregon Spirit looks very well placed and is due a win, ticks lots of boxes here. Zuma Roc very good last start but another jump in class and overall win percentage is poor, so willing to risk. St Mark ordinary last start but Boss goes on and he could make the difference. Fabriano unlucky not to win last week but has a terrible Flemington record. Best value bet could be Picture Editor, racing very consistently, a big jump in class but in an astute stable and very well bred. Race 7 David Jolly brings across Aregee Mclaren and form in Adelaide has been good. Beat Weekend Special by 1 length and meets him better at the weights. Broken, Canali (Excellent First up) and Queen Delight have claims. Henwood has some talent and 1/1 third up. Borsay wouldnt be a total shock. However, I think Day Procedure is the way to go, ticks lots of boxes, nice weight drop, Course and Distance Winner, and form could be franked if Impulse Buy runs well in race 4. Race 8 Koe 2/2 at Flemington and not carrying 60k today. Bia Diamond pushed her close last time but doesnt meet her any better at the weights. Taat Sensation might be ok but big rise in class. Mosse Diva could be the value and has a win third up. David Hayes was positive about her chances on RSN Friday morning. Hard to ignore the Waller horses (Pipette and Eliza Blues) and Tranquera was good last start but still think Koe has their measure.
