Location: In the heart of the beautiful University of British Columbia campus. Close to parks and beaches, it is just 40 minutes from LSI Vancouver by public transportation. Rooms: private rooms in an apartment-style residence. Living area, kitchen and washroom is shared with other guests. Private Bathroom: No, shared bathroom in each apartment. Meals: Breakfast only. Facilities: TV lounge, internet caf, fitness facilities, coin laundry. Prices (per person per week): $465. Availability: Summer only. Other: Bed linens are provided, students advised to bring towels and dishes, 24 hour security, Minimum age: 18. YWCA Residence Hotel Location: Centrally located in downtown Vancouver. It is a 15 minute walk from LSI. Rooms: Single and double rooms available; shared, private or semi-private bathroom. Private Bathroom: Yes, an available option. Meals: Self-catering. Facilities: A television lounge, internet caf, lounge areas, fitness facilities, kitchen for selfcatering but not all utensils are provided. Coin laundry is available. There are two Ryerson University residences available to students during the summer months: The International Living & Learning Centre (ILLC) and Pitman Hall. Both buildings are on the universitys downtown campus, two blocks from the Eaton Centre on Dundas Street East, only 4 short subway stops from LSI.

INTERNATIONAL LIVING AND LEARNING CENTRE (ILLC) Rooms: All guest rooms are equipped with a queen or double size bed, ensuite bathroom, colour TV, alarm clock, air conditioning and amenities. Some rooms are equipped with a pullout sofa bed. Private Bathroom: Yes. Meals: Includes hot breakfast. Facilities: 24-hr. front desk and security, multilingual staff, non-smoking building, TV lounge, kitchenettes, weekly housekeeping services, laundry facilities, underground parking. Prices (per person, per week): $540. Availability: Early May to the end of August. Other: High speed Internet available in each guest room free of charge. An initial key/damage deposit of $200 is payable at the beginning of the stay. This is refundable when the students return the key upon departure. Minimum stay 3 weeks. PITMAN HALL Rooms: Single room furnished with a captainstyle bed, desk, chair, lamp, dresser, telephone, garbage pail, full-length mirror, and closet. Neill Wyciks floors are sub-divided into units containing 4, 5, or 6 individual bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen/lounge common area. Private Bathroom: No. Meals: Continental breakfast included. Facilities: Shared kitchen, common room w/TV, Internet access, weight room, roof top patio, laundry facilities, snack bar, 24-hour security, and daily housekeeping provided in all common areas.
