After recently speaking to a talented designer, it has become more apparent to me how real and tangible the things produced from imagination are. I asked the man a question and his reply to me was that I would not be doing this if I was not passionate. I started to think about how many people do things they are not passionate about, and the energy that can comes off those that are. Even though, I was communicating with him from my mobile, I could just feel the energy and enthusiasm. Everything you can imagine is real. -Picasso His sharp reply is a result of his convictions; I am convinced that he could not see himself doing anything outside of his current field. That conviction is more real to him than ever. I remember a webisode posted up by the famous rapper Big Sean. In one particular video he spoke about the significance of imagination in aiding him to where he is now in his career.

He said that everything that he sees and has now, he imagined it way in advance. This vivid vision helped him, and to push through immediate contradictions. Many others, who are now in the forefront of cultural relevance, may express a similar experience. Contrary to what western society may teach or suggest, imagination is not something that should be put to the side and left for children, but a vital part of our being. Without it, there is no vim, no life and without it, how do we even have the hope and expectation to see beyond challenging times?
