Mandatory Events:
Ford Drive Fundraiser (Sat, 9/28) Come out to the Ford Drive Fundraiser and test drive a car. If you arent over 18, have someone come drive for you! This is a mandatory fundraiser, not a point. If you volunteer to help run the fundraiser, you will get one point. NHS Fall Induction Ceremony (Tues, 10/22) The Fall Induction is a mandatory event for all members (no point rewarded). Contact Mrs. Henry about any conflicts well in advance.

Volunteer and Point Opportunities:

School Supply Drive (8/28-9/13) Donate three school supplies to Mrs. Henrys room (K204) for one point! Ends Friday, 9/13. Powell Elementary Library (Tuesdays) Volunteer to help sort and shelve books at the Powell Elementary Library on Tuesdays from 3-4 pm. Be sure to sign in at the library. Attendance Office (Weekly) We could use 2 volunteers in the attendance office from 7-7:25 every morning, weekly. Attend everyday for a week to earn a point. Contact Cecilia to sign up for a week. Boys and Girls Club (Tuesdays and Thursdays) The Boys and Girls Club is open from 46pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Its located at 1000 Enterprise Dr.Grand Prairie, TX 75051. Be sure to sign in there. Grand Prairie Seminoles (Saturdays) - The Grand Prairie Seminoles are looking for volunteers to work at home football games. Games at the Young Men's Leadership at Kennedy Middle School: 9/14, 9/28, and 10/26. Games at Gopher-Warrior Bowl: 10/12 The games usually last from 10am to 8pm. Contact Chance to sign up for a 2 hour time slot.
