My Dog Fred

I have a dog. His name is Fred. He won't play fetch. He won't play dead. He won't shake hands or sit or stay or bark or beg or run and play. He won't roll over, shake or crawl. In fact, he won't do tricks at all. When folks ask why I tell them that's because my dog was raised by cats.

Bubble Wrap, Bubble Wrap

Bubble wrap, bubble wrap, pop, pop, pop. Wrapped around my bottom. Wrapped around my top. I'm double-wrapped in bubble wrap It's covering my clothes. It's wrapped around my fingers. It's wrapped around my toes. I've wrapped myself in bubble wrap exactly as I'd planned. But now I'm tied so tightly, I can barely even stand. I'm having trouble walking. I can hardly even hop. I guess I'll have to roll today. Pop, pop, pop.

Riding a Rainbow
I'll ride on a rainbow to soar through the sky. I'll ride on a kite as it flies way up high. I ride on a dragon. I ride a balloon. I ride on a rocket and ride on the moon.

My Dog Lives On the Sofa

My dog lives on the sofa. That's where he wants to be. He likes to sit there night and day and watch what's on TV.

Bunny. Once a little scatter-brain Left poor Bunny in the rain. What could little Bunny do? He got wet just through and through.

My Horse. How I love my little horse! I will brush him very well, of course, I will comb his tail and mane, And go riding out again.

My Billy Goat With my goat, so small and funny, I go walking every day. In our garden, green and sunny, I and Billy love to play. Should my little Billy stray, I will find him straightaway. The Aeroplane We will build a plane and soar Over woodland, sea and shore, Over woodland, sea and shore, And fly back to Mum once more

An Autumn Greeting "Come," said the Wind to the Leaves one day. "Come over the meadow and we will play. Put on your dresses of red and gold. For summer is gone and the days grow cold."

What is Pink? What is pink? A rose is pink By the fountain's brink. What is red? A poppy's red In its barley bed. What is blue? The sky is blue Where the clouds float through. What is white? A swan is white Sailing in the light. What is yellow? Pears are yellow, Rich and ripe and mellow. What is green? The grass is green, With small flowers between. What is violet? Clouds are violet In the summer twilight. What is orange? Why, an orange, Just an orange!

What's weird about a mirror is that I can never see

what my mirror looks like without me.

IF I WERE A CLOWN If I were a clown For just one day I'd make up my face In the funniest way. A nose like a hose Eyebrows of green, And the biggest smile You've ever seen. CLOUDS If I had a spoon As tall as the sky I'd dish out the clouds That go slip-sliding by. I'd take them right in And give them to cook And see if they tasted As good as they look. A BUG I saw a bug, with twenty feet Go crawling up and down the street, And wondered if he stubbed ONE toe If he would really know.

SCHOOL IS OVER School is over, Oh, what fun! Lessons finished, Play begun. Who'll run fastest,

You or I? Who'll laugh loudest? Let us try. BUT THEN A tooth fell out and left a space so big my tongue can touch my face I miss my tooth as you may guess but then - I have to brush one less!

RAIN The rain is raining all around, It falls on field and tree, It rains on the umbrellas here, And on the ships at sea.

Spring is Fun
