In Local News Newarks mayor appears to have had a flirty chat with a stripper over Twitter. Mayor Corey Booker exchanged a series of tweets and direct messages with stripper who lives in Portland, OR named Lynsie Lee. The majority of the tweets that were exchanged by the two were not very racy, but in one of the direct messages Booker claimed to love Lee. Corey Booker is sited as one of the first politicians to use Twitter in order to interact and campaign with voters. This situation may affect Bookers use of the social media platform or even his run at the vacated Senate seat.

In National News.. In Green Bay, Wisconsin there were major traffic delays when part of a main bridge dipped down 2 feet. On Wednesday, there was a 400-foot section of the Leo Frigo Bridge that began to sag lower than the rest of the bridge. It seems as if one of the beams that was holding the bridge up sank around 2 feet into the ground causing the section to begin to sag. Police were forced to stop traffic from crossing the bridge and, as of now, it will be closed indefinitely. When speaking to state officials, they said that the bridge is in no danger of collapsing.

In International News A check for $2 million dollars was found on a subway car in Madrid. A maintenance worker cleaning up the car found the check on Wednesday. The check was made out to a man with a California drivers license and was found in what is believed to be his wallet along with his license and some credit cards. Police will not release the mans name but they say they have it and are trying to contact him. The check was from Bank of America and has been post dated to January 2014. Police say that the wallet appeared to have been stolen and that only the cash was taken from it. They do not plan to just hand the check over however, they will have to do a background check on it to make sure that they money is not illegal.

In Sports News Major League Baseballs commissioner announced today that he will be retiring in 2015. Bug Selig, 79, issued a statement saying that in January of 2015, shortly after the 2014 MLB postseason comes to a close, he will be stepping down as the commissioner of baseball. Selig has been the commission of the MLB for 21 years up to this date and will become the 2nd longest reigning commissioner when he retires on January 24, 2015. Under Selig the league has seen many ups and downs including a boost in attendance and revenue, as well as some of the biggest drug scandals in all of professional sports.

Weather.

The weather here on campus at Kean University is mostly cloudy with a few rays of sunshine sneaking through. It is currently 67 degrees and overnight we will have clear skies and temperatures in the low 50s. The three day forecast for Union, NJ is: Friday: Mostly sunny with a few clouds in the afternoon and a high of 73 Saturday: Nothing but sunshine and temperatures in the mid 70s Sunday: Will be another day full of sunshine with a high of 73 degrees

And In Entertainment News..

Breaking Bad will be saying goodbye. This Sunday, the series finale of the critically acclaimed television series Breaking Bad will air. This show has been called one of the best shows of the decade and it backs it up with the numerous amounts of awards that it has one since coming on the air 6 years ago. The show has won 7 Primetime Emmy Awards and was nominated for 22 since its inception. There have been many speculations as to how creator Vince Gilligan will end the series, but the only way to know will be to tune in and watch. You can see the final episode of Breaking Bad this Sunday, September 29th at 9 pm on AMC.
