House Structural Lift (External)

A new RC Slab is constructed within the dwelling, from which pockets are broken through the existing load bearing walls of the house. Piles are positioned and constructed to provide a support system and safe lifting locations. The new RC Slab is drilled and high tensile bolts grouted into the slab at each exposed pocket. A specially designed bracket is then fitted and secured ready for the structural lift. Hydraulic jacks are placed on top of the piles and underneath the secured brackets. The hydraulic jacks in this instance are connected by circuit and can be isolated by an independent valve located at each jack. Once the house is in a stabilised and level plain, the void left under the slab is consolidated with design grout/concrete mix.

House - Structural Lift (Internal/Basement)

A new RC Slab is constructed in place of the basement floor, from which pockets of brickwork are broken through all the existing load bearing walls of the house. The slab is constructed with lifting bars and pile access locations - the slab is ultimately lifted with a hydraulic jacking system working off the piles and lifting a mechanical framework. Jacks are linked in banks of four and can be raised or lowered independently. Once the house is in a stabilised and level plain, the void left under the slab is consolidated with design grout/concrete mix.
