How do I create new documents out of existing packages? What if I wish to re-order documents (different than the Project Browser) then include or exclude diagrams and packages? You can create virtual documents in Enterprise Architect You can include any combination of packages, and add or delete packages as required documentation. You can also Rearrange the Package Order within the documentation The document obtains its contents dynamically, that is, you don't have to update the document if you make a change to one of the packages included in it.

EA Tip: You can create as many document objects as required, for as many combinations of packages as required. You can include the same package in multiple objects.

Under MY WORKSHOP package Create a package name it Virtual Document Select this package and then Add Diagram Select Structural then Class Select Toolbox / More Tools / Class From the UML Toolbox, drag the Class icon onto the diagram to create a new class Name the class something appropriate In the Stereotype field of the Class Properties dialog, enter Model Document. This is crucial to the virtual documentation process. Click on the OK button to create your document class.
