TRAVEL POLICY
Please note that the reimbursement of expenses made will be within the grade-wise limits prescribed under the travel rules. CLASSIFICATION OF CITIES:
To provide for different levels of expenditure appropriate to the cost of living in different cities, we have classified the cities into the following categories: Category A -Includes all metros i.e. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Category B Includes the following cities: Agra, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Cochin, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Indore, Jaipur, Jalandhar, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Madurai, Mangalore, Nagpur, Pune, Ranchi, Trichy, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vijayawada and Vizag. Category C Cities excluded from Category A & Category B.
LODGING & BOARDING: For outstation travel involving overnight stay, the policy that will be applicable for employees is as given below.
A) Stay in Hotels
* Eligibility per day For Category A cities
A Grade B Stay C Food & Misc. exp. With supporting D Food & Misc. exp. w/o supportings B Stay
* Employees can claim under either Column C or D but not under both.
(B) Stay in Guest House / Friends / Relatives The facility to claim allowance when employee stays with a relative or friend will be discontinued with immediate effect
Laundry expenses Employees will be eligible for Laundry reimbursement per day after 3 days of consecutive travel to one or more cities with supporting as given below.

The above-mentioned arrangement is not automatically applicable to all across. Staff members up to the grades of Asst. Managers, should first seek prior approval from their administrative superiors preferably before the travel.
