19/09/2013 Thursday Production log In lesion we had to learn how to use Photoshop so we had to get into pairs and

edit footage that had been filmed which we did throughout the lesion we also learnt how to use the macs and how to get to the programs and documents we will need to use over the next two years. We also got a talk on what equipment we would be using to film in the next two years at college. My job role was to learn how to use the Mac and Photoshop ECT as I need to know for future reference over the next two years of Media. The activity went well and I learnt a lot within the lesion. There were no issues within the lesion. Time management was not an issue within the lesion. There were no health and safety issues. There were no improvements needed to be made.

26/09/2013 Thursday Production log In lesion we was editing our images for our Minnie Project La Jetee we decided we would add some more effects such as visual effects we used the rasher tool to edit out bad parts of our footage. We were told to make sure we always use the snap tool to shape the footage we learnt how to export our work we also imported our sound FX after transferring our sounds we either recorded our self or get off YouTube converter from Mp3 to on a Program called Garage bend we had to go to FX and type what sound you would need then find sound effects and pick which one you like. on the program if you also didnt not have a certain sound we needed to get was a scream and evil laugh which we found one we liked then we converted our other sound effects we already had .

I helped with the editing ideas and finding the Sound FX we got quite a few sound effects such as a Scream and Evil laugh, Wind, an Echo typing, laughing, footsteps ect which Me Anthony and Charlie looked at ect. The Activity went well and we got a lot of work done within the lesion. There were no issues apart from some people in the group were lazy during the lesion. Time management was not an issue within the lesion.

There were no health and safety issues that I could find within the day and session. We could communicate more but sometimes some of the group can be very awkward and not compromise.

30/09/2013 Monday Production log In the session we had to finish our Minnie La Jetee we added some more effects we showed Andrea he was happy with it so we started to do our 3D image on the program Adobe after effect we practiced how to use the software as we was new and not familiar with the software we learnt how to use the pen tool. We also learnt how to put the background in a certain place how to import files we got images from Tims class as we could not find our images on our USB stick so we got it before we started learning about Adobe after effect but our images were corrupt so we used someone elses picture as we could not undo the issue. We learnt it to cut out images to add to a background and took it in turns it was CMD- S then you had to double click on the footage then click the scale icon o edit your image.then click the dot when you got your start to your 3D image then play it then put the line somewhere else then click the dot again then you could make it 3D. I learnt how to use the Program as it is important for my work over the next two years. I had to learn how to use the Program Adobe After effect and practice on our 3D image. The activity went well but I found it difficult as it was my first time using the program but in two weeks I should be fine using the program. There was a problem with one of our images had different coloured lines in the image so it was no good and corrupt so we used someones elses to use as a 3D image. Time management was not an issue in the lesion. There were no health and safety issues. I would say some people in the group need to pull there weight more and compromise and not argue and communicate if there confused or unsure what to do.

07/10/2013 October Monday Production log The Brief (What was the task)

We told Andrea we had to film from one to maybe half two but we ended up finishing taking out shots at 3:00 then we got back to class and put our footage on Final cut pro and started to format and place our footage in the places we wanted .

What were the main tasks set for the session / production? I helped with the pictures and carry the equipment ECT. Individual tasks What was your job or activity? I helped get our images I also helped with the images and carry equipment ECT. The Activities How well did your activity go? The activity went well we got our images done and now we just nee dour audio and we need to start editing and get two 3D photos as the ones we took were blurry. Were there any problems?

we had a issue with the framing of our images as frames on final cut pro the frame always must be 25 and two a few images were blurry but we took a few just in case and we have to redo two 3D images.
