We are glad to inform you that DPPI has entered into the 3 rd year of using satellite
technology to outreach DAV teachers teaching in remote areas of the country.

Reference to our earlier communication concerning the conduct of Performan ce


Enhan cement Progra mmes for DAV teachers of all subjects at all levels through
EDUSAT on IGNOU’s Channel GD-2, we are pleased to inform you that DPPI is going to
begin a series of interactive teleconferencing sessions from 28 th August 2009 that will be
conducted in two phases due to the month long festival season falling in between. Schedule
of these programmes will be sent by the last week of July 2009.

A panel of text-books authors and paper-setters from NCERT and CBSE shall address
teachers of class X & XII. Board Question papers for the year 2009 will be discussed
threadbare and textual queries of practicing teachers will also be resolved. Regarding the
difficulty areas of teachers from the textbooks we would like to request you to instruct the
schools of your zone to send us the tex tual queries of al l subje cts at all levels
th rough email in the format given below. It is however requested that queries of
board bound classes may be sent immediately.

Course Fee
A new format approved by Hon. President, DAV CMC, is being implemented from 2009
for the payment of Course Fee for all teleconferencing sessions. From year 2009 One
Time Annual Pay ment will be made by the schools for any number of
tele/videoconferencing sessions conducted in an academic year. The amount of the course
fee will be based on the classification given below.

DAV Schools affiliated up to Class X with CBSE. Rs. 7,000/-only

All the schools shall remit the Course Fee through the Reg ional Direc tor’s office. The
RD office will send the compiled drafts to DPPI office. The DD should be drawn in favour
DAV College Managing Committee, payable at New Delhi.
For your ready reference we provide you Teleconference Advisory for the smooth and
effective conduct of these sessions.
• Ensure that TV Room is away from noisy arena in the school.
• Ensure teachers have access to telephone/mobile/fax facility in a corner of the TV
room.
• You can call up IGNOU’s toll free no -1800112345 to clarify your doubts and
queries. You may also fax your queries at studio’s landline no (s) 011 – 29532845,
011 – 29532844.
• While interacting with the studio please keep TV’s volume low so that you are
audible to resource people at the studio.
• It is advisable to keep mobiles on vibrating mode so that the viewers in the room
may not miss any part of the proceedings.
• Ensure that teachers are equipped with the textbooks and notebooks with their
queries jotted down.
• Record the sessions for repeated reference later and provide a copy to the teachers.
• Ensure enthusiastic participation of the teachers of your school.

Finally, in the wake of DPPI’s initiative to conserve paper ‘Save paper Save trees’ you
are requested to acknowledge this e-mail within two working days.
If we do not receive any acknowledgement from your end, we will be forced to send you a
