Filtering
When you filter data, only the data that meets your criteria appears. The data that doesn't meet that criteria is hidden. After you filter data, you can copy, find, edit, format, chart, and print the subset of filtered data.

Find and Select


You can search for and replace text, including special characters (such as question marks, tildes, and asterisks) or numbers. You can search by rows and columns, search within comments or values, and search within worksheets or entire workbooks.

Print Selection
If you are working with large amounts of data, you may want to share just a portion of itfor example, only certain cells or groups of cells from a worksheet.

Open the Spreadsheet with the data you need and hold down the Ctrl key while highlighting the area of the document you want to print out.

Select the cells that you want to print. On the File menu, click Print. Under Print What, click Selection. Click Print.

Freeze Frame
You can prevent important rows or columns from scrolling off the screen by freezing them. For example, you can freeze a top row that contains column headings so that the labels remain visible as you scroll in the sheet.

To Freeze Rows: In column A, select a cell in the row below the row that you want to freeze. To Freeze Columns: In row 1, select a cell in the column to the right of the columns that you want to freeze. On the Window menu, click Freeze Panes.
